Hon Kum + Natalie, Wedding In Ipoh

Celebrating my dear sister's and brother-in-law's wedding in Ipoh, on March 29th, 2015.
This was my first time:
1. Shoot a wedding using a full frame camera, it just feels so good.

2. Covering a wedding day in West Malaysia, out of Kuching.
3. Starts photo session in a bridal studio instead of "bride's house", where I get to "hijack" some pretty backgrounds from the premise.
A new chapter officially begins for Hon Kum and Natalie, and merging the Lee and Boon's family line.
Thanks for letting your own big brother to capturing the precious moments on your big day, it was one fantastic opportunity. I hope you enjoy the photos and I wish you two a wonderful marriage

Actual Day Wedding 08/12/2012: Jeffery & Jasmine

Jeffery, my secondary school friend got wed this December 8th, 2012. He whom I haven't met for quite a while contacted me weeks ago and appointed me as his wedding day's photographer. When we were actually meet up the other day i was so surprised to see him that he didn't actually age a bit, he looks just like how he was in form 5. I guess he must be living a cheerful and happy life to keep his young look. Anyway, it was an honor covering your wedding as an old friend, and thrilled that you've found your lifetime partner.

This post also marked the first where I have the chance to capture special "staged-up" moments where the bridegroom was "grooming up" before heading to meet the bride.

Actual Day Wedding 26/12/2011: Gordon + Lydia

My last wedding job, last year. It was a last minute call (3-4 days) before the actual wedding date. Gordon was introduced by some of my friends and he got interested in my work. His actual wedding day fell on 26th December 2011, and it was a public holiday, since I was available so I accepted this assignment.

Hello everyone, my name is Demitri and I do photography and design for a living. This post marks my first ever post on demitriboon.blogspot.com, and this post also regarding my secondary school pal's wedding day which was covered by me exactly 2 weeks ago.

Presented here are 100++ photos and each picture tells a different thing and when everything sums up together, it's one complete story. My style of photography is more to natural, candid and journalistic, while not losing any artistic value. I do almost all kinds of photography throughout these years. However, on this new blog, I'm going to focus more on people and lifestyle, which is fun and challenging at the same time as I need to bring those photos to life in order to convince my audience.
