The Coffee Garden: The Grand Opening 21/11/2015

It was a pleasant invitation to cover the grand opening of The Coffee Garden last weekend. This is a café that located right in the city where one can go for a quick escape from the hustle bustle from the city life, and have a cup of great coffee, maybe some food in this garden themed café.

The event went on wonderfully with refreshments being served to the invited guests and media personnel. While chilling out one can witness some of their professional baristas making coffees and showing off some latte arts.

Make sure to drop by whenever you feel like having a coffee, at Ground Floor, Tun Jugah Mall, Kuching.

Scrambler Ducati x BEV

A special event held by Ducati Borneo Kuching and Canon Sarawak, where visitors are welcomed to the Ducati showroom to view the latest Ducati bikes and also Canon's photographic and imaging systems. Showing here is the model photo shoot with Scrambler Ducati Full Throttle. This bike is definitely a show stealer!!!

Mira & Monster

Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 IS USM Sample Photos

Last weekend I had a chance to test this telephoto lens, courtesy from EOS Academy Sarawak. 

All shots were taken with this lens, ranging from 100mm to 400mm, attached on EOS 7D. The reason I used a 7D is to achieve the 1.6x crop sensor effect, so I get longer zoom result.

This lens is suitable for daytime use, when there's plenty of lights the image will turn out great. With its great focal length, it's ideal for wildlife, nature, cropped landscape, abstract and sports. Human portraiture might not be practical as the depth of field is slightly narrow to have beautiful bokeh.
